Word order differs between Japanese and English, so "XML Markup" checks often reject valid Japanese sentences. I would like XML Schema check enforcement to be removed.

<link xlink:href="https://www.gisgraphy.com/">GIS Graphy</link> can utilize PostGIS and like Nominatim uses OpenStreetMap (OSM) data along with some other sources. It comes with a loader to load OSM data and similar to Nominatim is capable of geocoding not just US. Much like Nominatim, it runs as a webservice and relies on Java 1.5, Servlet apps, Solr. GisGraphy is cross-platform and also has a reverse geocoder among some other neat features.

BRIN stands for "Block Range Index". It is a general-purpose index method provided by PostgreSQL. BRIN is a <emphasis>lossy</emphasis> index method, meaning that a secondary check is required to confirm that a record matches a given search condition (which is the case for all provided spatial indexes). It provides much faster index creation and much smaller index size, with reasonable read performance. Its primary purpose is to support indexing very large tables on columns which have a correlation with their physical location within the table. In addition to spatial indexing, BRIN can speed up searches on various kinds of attribute data structures (integer, arrays etc). Any geodetic (long/lat based) spatial reference system defined in the <varname>spatial_ref_sys</varname> table can be used.
