Instructions for translators

All these strings are considered non translated when the documentation is generated: marked for edit, with suggestions and untranslated. Please work on this order to have the most translated strings as soon as possible

1) Strings marked for edit - Normally, these are strings that had a very small change. Usually on the link.

2) Strings with suggestions - Are strings that look like other strings.

  • Click on the check mark, if it is exactly what is going to be used
  • Copy/paste the suggestion, and delete the suggestion, if it is similar

3) Untranslated strings - Are strings that do not have a suggestion and have not been translated before.

Each Open API has an interactive documentation page at http://localhost:5000/openapi. In this interactive webpage you can read about the various methods in the service, but also directly interact with them via web forms.

Now that we have the service available we can query it using various client tooling. Each of the features of the collection is available in common formats, such as HTML, GeoJSON and GML. To start we can use a web browser to browse through the service. From http://localhost:5000/collections/countries, drill down to individual features. The service will automatically detect (accept header) that you are using a web browser and will return the HTML representation of features. Notice in the top right corner explicit links to override the accept header and request specific representations of the feature (``?f=json``).
Ora che hai il servizio disponibile puoi interrogarlo usando vari strumenti client. Ogni elemento della collezione è disponibile in formati comuni, come HTML, GeoJSON e GML. Per iniziare puoi usare un browser web per navigare attraverso il servizio. Dal sito http://localhost:5000/collections/countries, si può scendere fino ai singoli elementi. Il servizio rileverà automaticamente (accetta l'intestazione) che stai usando un browser web e restituirà la rappresentazione HTML degli elementi. Nota nell'angolo in alto a destra i link espliciti per sovrascrivere l'intestazione di accettazione e richiedere rappresentazioni specifiche dell'elemento (``?f=geojson``).

Starting from QGIS 3.14 you can add an OGC API - Features layer as vector layer. From the ``Layer / Add Layer`` menu select ``Add WFS Layer...``.
A partire da QGIS 3.14 è possibile aggiungere un layer OAPI-GC API - Features come layer vettoriale. Dal menu ``aLayer / Aggiungi layer`` seleziona ``Aggiungi layer WFS / OAPI-Features...``.

Update ``pygeoapi-config.yml`` to add ``countries`` as a new collection to pygeoapi (insert snippet below between the other collections. Mind the nesting, nesting is important in YAML syntax).
Aggiorna ``pygeoapi-config.yml`` per aggiungere ``paesi`` come nuova collezione a pygeoapi (inserire lo snippet sotto tra le altre collezioni. Attenzione alla nidificazione, la nidificazione è importante nella sintassi YAML).

Interesting datasets to expose as OGC API - Features consist of real world data having multiple attributes and links to other resources. OSGeoLive contains a number of datasets we can use. An example is ``/var/www/html/openlayers/examples/data/geojson/countries.geojson``. You can configure it in pygeoapi using the GeoJSON provider.
I set di dati interessanti da esporre come OGC API-Features consistono in dati del mondo reale che hanno attributi multipli e collegamenti ad altre risorse.
